UUTH BOARD MEMBERS ASSUME PROFESSORSHIP POSITIONS
Chief Medical Director, University of Uyo Teaching Hospital, Dr. Emem Bassey has been elevated to the position of a professor.
Prof. Bassey, whose specialty is in Obstetrics & Gynaecology became the Chief Medical director in 2018. His training traverses both local and international institutions of repute.
He hails from Esit Eket Local Government Area, in AkwaI bom State.
Similarly, another member, Dr. Aniesua Akpan Essiett has also bagged a professorship position.
He specializes in nuclear physics.
A lecturer of University of Uyo, Prof. Essiett hails from Ikot Abasi in Akwa Ibom State and married with children.
